About

Surrey County UNISON represents over 4,000 members who work in local public services in Surrey.

Our members provide essential public services to over 1.2 million Surrey residents. The majority of our members work for Surrey County Council, though we have members in over 130 employers across Surrey, from care homes, to charities, to voluntary organisations, schools, colleges, and higher education.

Surrey County UNISON has a track record of winning for our members, including higher pay rises, better car mileage rates, to working with members facing disciplinary action or those wishing to raise grievances.

Being a member of UNISON means that you’re a part of 1.3 million members across the country working hard for the communities in which we live and work.

Our website will give you a guide to our branch, our elected officers, and what UNISON does for our members.
